The main purpose of Overboot is to provide increased insulation against the cold when standing still or moving very little in chilly temperatures. The upper is made of waterproof and moisture-repellent outer fabric with a lining of warm pile. Overboot has a removable insulating insole and a hard-wearing and flexible outsole made of CSM-coated polyamide. This is used by the Swedish military, among others.
