Glove production in Europe

We are proud to present our own production unit in Poland – the heart behind LillSport and our gloves. Granqvists Manufacturing is located in Złotów, where our gloves are manufactured with full focus on quality, fit and performance. Here we produce LillSport gloves for cross-country skiing, training and winter use, with gloves in different materials and designs for both exercisers and elite skiers.

Making high-quality gloves is an advanced craft that requires many years of experience in sewing, punching and processing leather. Creating gloves with the right feel, fit and durability places high demands on both materials and craftsmanship. That is why the greatest value in our company is the skilled people who work daily to develop and manufacture functional gloves for demanding use.

We work actively to be an attractive and responsible employer and take responsibility for both our employees and the society where the production is carried out. By owning our own production in Poland, we can ensure fair working conditions and high quality in the manufacture of our gloves. For us, sustainable production and solid craftsmanship are crucial to creating high-quality gloves. This means that the greatest value in our company is always the people who make our gloves.

Long experience in cross-country skiing gloves

Since the start in 1984, the production of LillSport cross-country ski gloves has been a central part of our business and something that has been close to our hearts. After experiences of glove manufacturing in Sweden, Finland and the former Yugoslavia, we established LillSport production in Poland, in the city of Złotów, in 1991. There we took over the existing glove production Rek-Pol and renamed it Rek-Swed, which means ”Swedish gloves”.

During the early 2000s, demand for LillSport cross-country ski gloves, outdoor gloves and functional gloves for winter training grew. This led to investments in a new production facility that was completed in 2006. Production has since been expanded several times and today employs approximately 320 people. The operation is now known as Granqvist Manufacturing and is the heart of our sustainable production of high-quality LillSport cross-country ski gloves and outdoor products.
