We want to be an attractive workplace

Our glove factory

Vi vill stolt presentera vår produktionsenhet i Polen. I staden Zlotow ligger Granqvists Manufacturing who manufactures Lillsport's ski gloves. Glove making is a real craft and it takes years to develop into a seamstress. This means that the greatest value in our company is the people who work with producing our gloves.

We do everything we can to be an attractive employer for our employees and are keen to take responsibility and work well for the city we are located in. In our opinion, the best and most sustainable thing is to have a high quality and a strong cooperation between all parties involved in the value chain of our products. We believe that through our ownership of production in Poland, we can guarantee fair conditions for the employees who are working there. The advantages of this model are innumerable both for us as a company, our employees and our customers.

"This means that the greatest value in our company is the people who work to manufacture our gloves."

The fabrics history

Since the start in 1984, production has been a major focus for us and has been a part that has been close to our hearts. After several attempts at production in Sweden, Finland and Yugoslavia, we finally ended up right in Poland in the city of Zlotow in 1991. We then took over the already existing production by name Rek-Pol and named it to Rek-Swed that means "Swedish gloves".

In the early 2000s, production needed to grow and we invested in a new production hall that was completed in 2006 and employed 150 employees. Since then, a lot has happened, we have had time to expand three more times and increased the number of employees to 320. Today, production is called Granqvist Manufacturing.
